| Chromium-nickel stainless steel with titanium added to control intergranular corrosion in the 800°F - 1500° F range. Non-magnetic in the annealed condition and not hardenable by heat treatment. |

| Corrosion Resistance |
| Resistant to intergranular corrosion. General corrosion resistance somewhat less than Type 304. Tends to form a light rust film in corrosive atmospheres, but this rusting is not progressive. Can be heated to or cooled slowly through the 800° F - 1500° F range without intergranular corrosion. |
