| Weldability |
| Good. Large sections should be preheated prior to welding. Due to air hardening properties, annealing after welding is recommended to obtain maximum ductility and toughness. |

| Corrosion Resistance |
| This material is resistant to corrosion from the atmosphere, fresh water, iron-bearing mine waters, food acids, neutral and basic salts, mild acids and alkalis. Maximum corrosion resistance of this grade is obtained by hardening and polishing. Resists oxidation up to 1000°F. |
